Adults Only Homemade Cranberry Sauce
The mixture of the cranberry and orange flavors is superb; not to mention the little Grand Mariner kick. You’ll find yourself making this sweet and tangy sauce every time you serve turkey or ham.
Don’t forget, the alcohol is not cooked out so keep it at the grown up table please.
ADULTS ONLY HOMEMADE CRANBERRY SAUCE
1 12-oz. bag of fresh cranberries
1 ¼ c. sugar
2 T. frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
2 T. Grand Marnier
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Place the cranberries in an 8 x 8 x 2 inch glass baking dish.
Mix together the sugar and the orange juice concentrate and pour the mixture over the cranberries. Cover tightly with foil.
Bake until juices form and the cranberries are very soft, about 1 hour.
Remove from the oven and mix in the Grand Marnier. Let cool, then cover and refrigerate until very cold, about 4 hours.
Cook’s Note: This dish can be prepared 3 days ahead stored in the refrigerator.
