Jack Be Little Tiny Pumpkins
These little guys will be the talk of your Thanksgiving dinner. They are so cute sitting on each person’s plate or all together on a platter. These tiny pumpkins are one of my favorite things to make for Thanksgiving because, not only do they taste awesome, they provide a fun element of surprise on the table.
Jack Be Little Tiny Pumpkins
1 miniature pumpkin per person
1 T. butter each
1 t. brown sugar each
Sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg each
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut off the very top of each pumpkin ~ about a quarter of the way down. Scoop out the seeds and strings. Put butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in each pumpkin ~ put tops back on. Place them on a cookie sheet and bake 45 – 55 minutes, until fork tender. Serve warm with the tops on.
Cooks Note: I wrap each pumpkin in tin foil while baking and place them in a casserole dish as they sometimes leak.
